We’re currently recruiting a dedicated Nurse to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Compass Group UK&I on a part-time basis, contracted to 36 hours per week. Responsibilities:
- Assessing and treating patients presenting with minor injury and minor illness
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care using up-to-date evidence-based knowledge
- Undertaking nursing treatments and procedures (e.g., wound care, suture removal, ECGs, vaccinations, phlebotomy)
- Participating in health screening duties and health promotion
- Assessing and re-evaluating clinical situations and acting accordingly
- Monitoring and improving standards of care through evidence-based practice, clinical audit, research and education
Qualifications:
- Current Nursing and Midwifery Council Registration
- State-approved or recognised Diploma or Degree in Adult Nursing
- Appropriate post-registration experience in a Primary Care environment (training can be given to the right candidate)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- IT-literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Effective team member; able to work unsupervised
- Organised and able to prioritise workload
- Commitment to continuing professional development
