We are looking for a reliable and capable Cook to join our on-site catering team. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering good-quality food, supporting daily service, and maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant kitchen environment.
You’ll take ownership of food preparation and cooking during your shift, support service delivery, and provide guidance to a Catering Assistant when required.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food in line with menu requirements and service standards
- Serve customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Supervise and guide the Catering Assistant on shift to ensure smooth service
- Complete all required due diligence and food safety paperwork accurately
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen and back-of-house areas
- Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, and company compliance procedures
- Previous experience in a cook or similar kitchen role
- Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
- Confidence working independently during service times
- Ability to support and oversee a Catering Assistant when required
- A practical, organised approach and a strong team ethic
- Friendly and professional when interacting with customers
