Foodbuy is the procurement arm of Compass Group UK & Ireland, managing over £2bn in annual spend across food and non-food categories - with ambitious plans to grow by another £1bn in the coming years. What You\'ll Do
As Project Manager, you\'ll lead end-to-end project workstreams across Foodbuy\'s transformation and integration programmes. You\'ll:
Plan, manage, and deliver projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Monitor performance, proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions.
Produce clear and actionable reporting on deliverables, milestones, and progress.
Foster collaboration across cross-functional workstreams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Maintain complete and accurate project documentation using tools such as Smartsheet, Trello, and Microsoft Office.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, managing concerns and engaging them in key decisions.
Contribute to continuous improvement of project methodologies and governance.
About You
We\'re looking for a confident, organised project professional who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments. You\'ll bring:
Proven experience in leading transformation or integration projects.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence at all levels.
Analytical and problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, Waterfall) and tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Trello).
A structured approach to planning, prioritisation, and decision-making under pressure.
Relevant certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, CAPM) or commitment to ongoing professional development.
