About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to lead our catering operation for Eurest in partnership with our client, SSE in Perth. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate food professional to take ownership of a diverse and fast-paced food service environment. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, service delivery, compliance, and team performance. Services include: breakfast, lunch, hospitality and a coffee shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of catering staff
- Plan and deliver high-quality, nutritious menus
- Manage food ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company policies
- Oversee hospitality events and special catering requests
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost controls
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and kitchen organisation
- Ensure smooth operation of vending services
About You
- Proven experience in a Chef Manager, Head Chef ideally within a contract catering environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Financial awareness with experience managing budgets and GP
- Food Safety Level 3 (or equivalent) desirable
- Flexible and adaptable approach to business needs
