Personal Trainer (PT) – Warrington24 hours per week £14.91 per hour Alive and Well is an independent gym, based on Birchwood Park – the North West’s leading out of town business park. It plays an important role in Birchwood Park’s ExpectMore customer promise and is a key part of the unique range of Parklife experiences and amenities offered to help retain the 165 companies based on the park and attract new companies to move to the Park.As a PT at Alive & Well you will create a fantastic experience full of energy and enthusiasm for our members. As a welcoming, friendly face you will help our members of all ages & abilities with their health & fitness needs; from new gym users, to rehabilitation, over 65’s and anyone looking to push themselves as far as they can go, you’ll help each & every one of our members get more than they expect from their gym membership, and you will ensure a regular two way conversation/check in to make sure this is maintained.A key part of your role will be spent delivering engaging inductions and designing and delivering PT sessions to help people achieve their goals, and as you would probably expect you will also take responsibility for keeping Alive & Well a safe, vibrant & clean place that people want to keep coming back to and tell their friends about.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Maximise every member and guest’s experience in our club – your day will be made up of inductions, 30min PT sessions, classes, gym floor cover, reception duties and scheduled shift checks.Support the sales and retention of memberships through excellent customer service and relationship-building.Support reception duties, including welcoming members, answering calls, general enquiries, class bookings, payments and maintaining a professional front-of-house presence in line with the brand standards.Sell and process new memberships and renewals, provide information on membership options and offers, manage the gym membership software and support retention through excellent service.Support the Gym Supervisor to create a best in class experience across areas inc: gym floor, classes, reception and member welcomes; in line with the brand standards.Competently deal with all member feedback, positive and negative that you experience, and ensure the relevant manager is made aware for relevant follow up action.Support and take part in the generation of content for both Birchwood Park and Alive and Well communications channels including social media.Ensure you are always up to date with current fitness challenges, trends, class descriptions and share with the team /take part in these.To be a competent key holder of the club, covering shifts as and when required.Support the gym team and the wider Birchwood Park team with delivering ExpectMore and Parklife experiences and idea generation for events and fundraising.Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the Facilities always meet the brand standards by taking an active role in maintaining and checking these, with support from the full teamQualifications – Required:Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (REPs or CIMSPA registered).Level 2 Fitness Instructor certification with experience leading group exercise classes.Proven ability and confidence to deliver a variety of classes, especially:Pilates (strongly preferred)Spinning (Must)HIITTabataDanceEmergency First Aid qualification (or willingness to complete upon employment).Previous experience working in a commercial or community gym setting.You will be:passionate about fitness, wellbeing, and delivering exceptional customer service.an outgoing personality, with a positive mindset, confident and most importantly friendly and approachable.a great team player and happy to share knowledge and best practice.a coach and motivator with the flexibility to recognise every member’s individuality.competent with all administrative duties and used to working with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)ambitious, with a strong desire to grow your skills and contribute to the team.flexible to work shifts to suit the needs of the business, and to take on additional duties where required to support your team members.target focused– to support the club with sales growth and retention to achieve success for the business.
