We are seeking an experienced and proactive Leading Hand Cleaner to join our team at RAAF Base Glenbrook.
In this hands-on role, you will support the day-to-day delivery of cleaning services across the base, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance are maintained at all times. Working alongside the Cleaning Supervisor and wider team, you will assist with team coordination, quality inspections, training, and operational support to ensure contractual requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example and actively participate in daily cleaning activities.
- Support the coordination and supervision of cleaning staff.
- Conduct quality inspections and address cleaning issues promptly.
- Assist with staff training, onboarding, and coaching.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting maintenance requirements as needed..
- Maintain positive relationships with Defence personnel, customers, and stakeholders.
