From mess halls to accommodation and recreation facilities, our teams keep Defence communities running smoothly every day. We’re seeking dedicated and reliable Cleaners to join our team at RAAF Base Glenbrook, supporting the Australian Defence Force through our ESS (Defence, Offshore & Remote) business. In this role, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for Defence personnel living and working on base. As part of the Compass Group, you’ll be joining a supportive team that values safety, respect, and excellence in everything we do.
Your responsibilities will include:
- General cleaning duties across accommodation, offices, and common areas
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and storage spaces
- Following safety, hygiene and site-specific procedures
- Providing high-quality service with strong attention to detail
- Working effectively within a team to meet daily cleaning schedules
What we’re looking for:
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping or facilities experience (highly regarded)
- A strong focus on safety, teamwork and reliability
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory for this position
