Nationwide Mobile Mechanical Engineer – £38-42K + Van + Expenses
We\’re looking for an experienced Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team, supporting sites across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, travel, andworking independently while contributing to larger projects with a dedicated team.
The Role
As a member of PPP-IML\’s Engineering Support Team (EST), you will be required to deliver high-quality mechanical maintenance support across a variety of contracts to enhance the customerexperience and uphold the company\’s excellent reputation. You\’ll be working 40 hours per week, responsible for maintaining and repairing:
- Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Air Conditioning systems
- Pressure systems, expansion vessels, and calorifiers
- Domestic and commercial hot & cold water systems
Tasks in line with SFG20 standards
This nationwide role includes travel and overnight stays to ensure exceptional service across multiple sites.
What We\’re Looking For
- Proven experience with the systems listed above
- Exposure to legionella water management and AP pressure systems
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a project team
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan your own workload
- Competent in completing clear, timely reports
- Flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices
