The purpose of our overall marketing team is to support the business in driving growth by delivering innovative marketing strategies across Catering, Retail and FM support services. We are now looking for a marketer to join our team who will take the lead in terms of marketing, communications and implementing the right strategies. Ideally, a graduate with a marketing qualification and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a marketing management role, experience in foodservices and FM support services would be ideal!
As a key person, your success will come from being able to deliver clear and compelling marketing messages resulting in building brand awareness and strengthening relationships with clients. You will work closely with the wider Marketing team and report into the Head of Marketing and also the senior leadership team. Although you will be the main marketing lead, you may also support on projects across the wider business. We see this as an exciting role with the opportunity to develop and deliver our marketing strategy on a national basis.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Implement an annual marketing strategy and promotional calendar based on commercial data, supported by creative development of consumer communications and POS.
- Lead the development of operator communications and playbooks which make execution easy, and track implementation.
- Creation of B2B sales tools such as brochures, trade ads and campaign white papers.
- Management of website, and working with agency to manage and monitor performance of SEO strategy.
- Be visible in our business contracts, supporting site teams on the ground with marketing implementation and brand standard execution.
- Work with finance to develop business cases and measure impact, evaluating success and proactively sharing learnings.
- Working closely with external marketing agencies to co-ordinate marketing campaigns, artwork and print requirements.
- Understand and utilise relevant industry insights.
- Support PR and comms for the sector, providing content for website, trade press and social channels.
Key skills, qualifications and experience:
- 3+ years' experience in Marketing Manager role.
- Proven track record in brand awareness and campaign execution.
- Evidence of participating in cross-functional collaboration.
- Expertise in digital content creation, social media management (particularly LinkedIn), and scheduling tools.
- Strong copywriting and visual content creation skills, with proficiency in Canva or similar tools.
- Analytical mindset with experience deriving actionable insights for business reporting.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Full UK Driving Licence - travel will be required.
- Collaborative approach with an ability to drive and inspire wider organisational engagement to get programmes implemented with operational teams.
- Experience working with external marketing agencies and briefing creative marketing projects.
