We are now looking for an experienced, commercially astute Contract Director to lead and inspire our NHS partnerships across Central London. This is a high-impact, senior leadership role where commercial excellence meets genuine purpose. You’ll work hand-in-hand with NHS stakeholders to deliver outstanding Soft Facilities Management services – from cleaning and catering to portering and retail – all while championing quality, compassion and patient experience.

The Role
As Contract Director, you will take full ownership of large, complex NHS contracts, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently and with heart. You’ll balance commercial performance with exceptional service delivery, building high-performing teams and strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Commercial Leadership
- Drive strong financial performance across soft FM and retail operations, with full accountability for budgets, forecasts and cost control.
- Identify and maximise revenue opportunities while delivering value for money.
- Contract & Performance Management
- Lead the management of all soft FM and retail contracts, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are consistently achieved.
- Ensure full compliance with governance, quality and regulatory standards.
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee day-to-day service delivery, setting high standards for safety, quality and customer experience.
- Continuously improve services with a focus on patient care and staff wellbeing.
- Stakeholder & Client Partnership
- Build trusted, collaborative relationships with NHS leaders, suppliers and internal teams.
- Act as a strategic partner, aligned to client priorities and patient outcomes.
- People & Culture
- Lead, inspire and develop senior management teams.
- Create a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
