Shift hours: Full Time
We're currently recruiting a dedicated Head Porter to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Restaurant Associates on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Head Porter, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the kitchen porter team during daily operations
- Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are cleaned to high standards
- Organise staff rotas and delegate tasks efficiently
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with deliveries and stock movement
- Monitor cleaning schedules and hygiene standards
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations
- Train new kitchen porter staff members
- Maintain a positive and productive working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or Senior Kitchen Porter
- Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
- Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
