Cleaning Supervisor - Full Time

Are you an experienced cleaning professional with strong leadership skills? We are seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at HMAS Watson on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated team and contribute to maintaining high cleaning and presentation standards within a Defence environment.
About the Role
As the Cleaning Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day cleaning operations, ensuring service delivery standards are consistently achieved while fostering a positive and productive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of cleaning attendants.
- Coordinate daily cleaning schedules and staff rosters.
- Conduct quality inspections and site audits.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment and consumable stock levels.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and coaching team members.
- Liaise with site management and client representatives.
- Respond to operational issues and implement effective solutions.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory or team leader position.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Experience working in commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, or facilities management environments.
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Eligibility to complete pre-employment checks, including a National Police Check.
