WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: • Running your section of the kitchen to a consistently high standard • Preparing, cooking and presenting fresh food to the required quality, presentation and portion specifications • Ensuring all dishes are prepared and served in line with recipes and food safety standards • Supporting the development of menus and new food ideas • Assisting with the training and development of Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants • Ensuring food is stored correctly and working to minimise food waste • Assisting with food ordering, deliveries and stock rotation • Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness across the kitchen and surrounding areas • Ensuring the correct and safe use of kitchen equipment and machinery • Following all company and client Health & Safety, Food Safety and allergen procedures • Working closely with the wider brigade to ensure smooth and efficient food service • Supporting the team during busy service periods and maintaining high standards under pressure WHO YOU ARE: • An experienced Chef de Partie / CDP with a strong background in professional kitchens • Passionate about fresh food, quality ingredients and excellent presentation • A confident Chef with strong culinary skills and attention to detail • Experienced in running a section within a busy kitchen environment • Able to work effectively as part of a professional kitchen brigade • Knowledgeable about Food Safety, HACCP, allergens and Health & Safety • Organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure • Passionate about developing your skills and keeping up with current food trends • A positive team player with excellent communication skills • Committed to delivering exceptional food and service • Professional in appearance, attitude and approach ABOUT LODESTONE HOUSE Lodestone House, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, provides catering and support services across the independent education sector.
