Hospitality Assistant

We\’re currently recruiting a dedicated Waiter/Waitress to help ensure the smooth running of operations and deliver the best guest experience possible.

Role Overview

This role involves variable shifts, including some evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

1. Welcoming guests
2. Taking orders and providing recommendations
3. Ensuring customer satisfaction
4. Mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
5. Ensuring accurate preparation and quality
6. Taking orders at the bar and from servers
7. Delivering food and drinks efficiently
8. Handling cash and credit card transactions accurately
9. Managing tabs and maintaining proper records
10. Maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar area
11. Cleaning glasses and restocking supplies
12. Managing inventory and checking IDs for age verification
13. Assisting with other bar duties and potentially serving food

Ideal Candidate

1. Ability to interact professionally with customers and resolve inquiries
2. Knowledge of various drinks, recipes, and preparation methods
3. Efficiency in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks
4. Clear communication skills with customers and colleagues
5. Accurate cash handling and tab management
6. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring activity
7. Previous experience in a bar or restaurant preferred
8. Ability to verify customer age and understanding of food safety regulations
