Lodestone House, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, is recruiting for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join the catering team at TASIS England, an independent school in Egham .
You will be part of a team passionate about preparing fresh, high-quality food every day and delivering an outstanding dining experience for pupils and staff.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled Chef de Partie to work alongside an experienced team of chefs, contribute to the school's food offer and develop your career within independent school catering.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Running your section to the required standards and specifications
Preparing, cooking and presenting fresh food to a consistently high standard
Ensuring all dishes meet required quality and portion specifications
Following Food Safety, HACCP, allergen and Health & Safety procedures
Supporting and training Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants within your section
Ensuring food is stored correctly and waste is minimised
Assisting with food orders, deliveries and stock storage
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen and surrounding areas
Using kitchen machinery and equipment safely and correctly
Supporting the wider catering team to deliver an efficient and high-quality food service
Carrying out other reasonable duties to support the catering operation
WHO YOU ARE An experienced Chef de Partie with a strong professional kitchen background
Passionate about fresh, high-quality food and excellent presentation
Confident running a section within a busy catering environment
Strong culinary skills with excellent attention to detail
Creative, with an interest in current food trends and techniques
Good knowledge of Food Safety, hygiene and Health & Safety requirements
Self-motivated, organised and able to work effectively under pressure
A strong team player with good communication and people skills
Professional in presentation and customer service
Able to drive
Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and wait for clearance
