What We Offer

  • £14.65 per hour

  • 37.5 hours per week (5 out of 7 days)

  • Shift pattern:
    Early shift - 6:00am to 2:00pm
    Late shift - 11:30am to 7:30pm

We\'re looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our friendly catering team at Leighton House, Westbury, supportingDefence catering operations.
You\'ll be part of a small, dedicated team delivering high-quality meals that make a real difference every day.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and serve delicious, high-quality meals

  • Support the Head Chef with daily operations and menu planning

  • Contribute creative ideas for new menus and dishes

  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards

  • Monitor stock levels and ensure smooth service across both messes

  • Provide guidance and motivation to junior team members

What We’re Looking For

  • Computer literate with good organisational skills

  • Previous experience in a similar kitchen role (Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie)

  • City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent

  • Food Hygiene Certificate

  • Passion for great food and excellent service
