Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team. As a key part of the brigade, you will be responsible for managing your own section and supporting the senior chefs in delivering high-quality dishes to our guests across the restaurant, bar, room service, and event catering.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of your section, ensuring food is prepared to the highest standards at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events.
- Assist in the development of new menu items, contributing creative ideas.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene, complying with all food safety regulations and kitchen standards.
- Support junior kitchen staff with training and guidance as needed.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and help minimize waste.
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or busy restaurant kitchen.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Professional Cookery (desirable).
- A strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene minimum).
- Passionate about cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
- Team-oriented with good communication and time management skills.
- Reliable, calm under pressure, and flexible to work across a 7-day rota, including weekends and evenings.
