The Role
As Catering Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operation, leading a well-established team of around 12 colleagues, including a Head Chef, Chefs, retail staff and servers. You'll be responsible for delivering outstanding food and service while ensuring strong financial performance and full compliance with Compass and client standards. This is a hands-on management role, ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front in a demanding but rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall management of a high-volume catering and retail operation
- Leading, motivating and developing a strong, established team
- Delivering excellent customer service across both catering and retail
- Full responsibility for financial management, including budgets, forecasts and cost control
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety, health & safety and company standards
- Building positive relationships with the client and stakeholders on site
