At Compass UK & Ireland, our Digital & Technology (D&T) team is at the forefront of driving innovation delivering cutting-edge digital solutions that improve operational performance, elevate user experience, and unlock commercial value across the business. We are now looking for a Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping and evolving a large-scale omni-channel digital product. This is a high-impact opportunity to move beyond traditional BA work and influence how a product is defined, built and scaled.

The Role

This is not a typical Business Analyst role. You will own discovery and analysis for an evolving digital product working closely with senior stakeholders to define problems, bring structure to ambiguity, and ensure every piece of work is grounded in clear business value before it enters delivery. Partnering closely with the Principal Product Manager, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, bridging business needs and technical delivery while helping shape the product as it matures. As the product develops, you will gain increasing exposure to product ownership offering a clear pathway into a more product-led career.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead discovery and analysis to define business problems, outcomes and success criteria
  • Engage senior stakeholders to understand processes, challenges and opportunities
  • Own and shape high-quality, outcome-focused requirements for delivery
  • Translate complex needs into structured, prioritised deliverables for engineering teams
  • Act as a key interface between business stakeholders and offshore engineering teams
  • Support backlog refinement and sprint readiness
  • Identify risks, dependencies and trade-offs, enabling informed decision-making
  • Validate delivered solutions against business intent and capture ongoing insight
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and future product iterations

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience operating as a Senior Business Analyst on complex digital products
  • Strong experience working in agile environments and managing backlogs
  • Ability to shape requirements in early-stage or evolving product environments
  • Confident working with both technical teams (e.g. engineering, architecture) and senior stakeholders
  • Experience with digital platforms, integrations or APIs
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
  • A commercial, outcome-focused mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence

Why Join Us?

  • Play a key role in shaping a high-profile digital product
  • Work at the intersection of business, data and technology
  • Gain exposure to product ownership and strategy
  • Be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking D&T function driving real business impact

If you are a commercially-minded Senior Business Analyst who thrives in ambiguity and wants to shape the future of digital products, we would love to hear from you.
