Location: Parklands Office, Birmingham
Overall Purpose of the role
To provide administration support to Compass Group UK&I's in house Employment Law Team
Key Accountabilities
- Employment Tribunal processing & administration including new file creation, obtaining documents from internal stakeholders, allocation of claims, diary management, bundle creation and pagination, and other related tasks as required.
- Administration assistance for Early Conciliation matters as required.
- Maintenance of the central case database including logging new cases, completing weekly updates, and monthly reporting.
- Administration of UK&I whistleblowing reports including allocating new cases to the ER Specialist and ensuring any issues or high-risk cases are escalated to the Employment Law Manager as required.
- Assistance in processing of Subject Access Requests in line with GDPR requirements.
- Processing of Helping Hands applications.
- Administrative assistance in processing of legally binding agreements ensuring compliance with associated terms.
- Maintenance of the central team mailbox ensuring ad hoc email queries are answered or diverted accordingly.
- Ad hoc assistance to the EL and wider HR teams as required.
Person Specification
- Experience of Microsoft Office including Teams, Outlook and Excel.
- Self‑motivated with an ability to effectively plan, prioritise, and organise own work.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both written and oral.
- Knowledge of HR procedures is desirable but not essential.
