- Supervise and support the café team throughout daily operations.
- Lead shifts and take responsibility for the café in the absence of the Unit Manager.
- Prepare and serve high-quality food and beverages, including coffee.
- Ensure café standards, food safety, hygiene, and brand requirements are consistently maintained.
- Support the induction, training, and development of new team members.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Complete opening and closing procedures in line with company standards.
- Support stock control, food waste management, cash handling, and café administration.
- Help deliver café sales targets while maintaining excellent operational standards.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the Unit Manager and wider team to support operational performance.

Our ideal Café Supervisor will:
- Be passionate about great-tasting food and delivering exceptional customer service
- Have previous supervisory experience within a café, hospitality, catering, or retail environment
- Have a minimum of two years' experience in a customer-facing catering or hospitality role
- Have experience leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- Be confident making decisions and taking ownership when managing shifts
- Have a strong understanding of food hygiene, health & safety, and operational standards (a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is advantageous)
- Thrive under pressure while maintaining high standards and attention to detail
- Be ambitious, proactive, and committed to developing both themselves and their team
