Location: Alexion - 100 College Street, New Haven, CT 06510

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Requirement: Catering/Cafe experience required

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour

Job Summary: Provides vending products and services at a single location. Collects money from machines and makes change.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive delivery of various items, including soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snack items and sundries at customer's place of business
  • Stock shelves or racks in vending machines and coolers; collect stale, rejected or unsold merchandise; collect money from machines, and refill bill and coin changers
  • Record transactions on appropriate card and/or electronic device
  • Be accountable for cash and product
  • Call on existing customers to determine adequacy of service
  • Prepare order forms for food and pastry products
  • Inform regular customers of new products or services
  • Listen to and resolve service complaints
  • Perform routine maintenance on and sanitation of machines; maintain clean storeroom and vending area
  • Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
