Contract Type: Full-time, permanent, site based, 5 over 7 days per week

As a Production Chef, at RHS Garden Wisley, you will be responsible for preparing high-volume sandwiches and cold items consistently, safely, and in alignment with RA Venues’ specifications. Responsible for recipe adherence, allergen control, FSMS compliance, accurate production levels, and efficient batch preparation. Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality sandwiches and cold items to specification.
  • Maintain consistency in flavour, portioning, and presentation.
  • Follow recipes exactly and minimise waste.
  • Ensure efficient ingredient use and correct rotation.
  • Complete FSMS documentation for sandwich production (temps, CCPs, cooling, labelling).
  • Follow allergen segregation and cross-contamination procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe production environment.
  • Use PPE and equipment safely.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team.
  • Support training and development of new team members.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in cold prep or production kitchens.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Understanding of FSMS, allergens, and chilled production.
  • Experience in grab-and-go or sandwich production (desirable).
