What you'll be doing:
- To organise and supervise the unit in accordance with and to the standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland, the contract specification and statutory Regulations.
- To be responsible for the overall efficient and effective management of the unit under their control providing a quality service.
- Responsible for the checking of preparation, cooking and service of food to agreed standards and specification.
- To ensure the efficient and economic use is made of all resources, including stock, team members and company assets.

- Adopt a hands-on approach taking responsibility for the food production covering pupil and staff feeding along with an extensive range of hospitality and events.
- Food Innovation and development is essential along with being up to date with current food trends.
- Knowledge on health & nutritional guidelines is essential.
- Strong written and spoken English along with computer skills are essential.
- Ability to motivate and develop your team.

- Good Chef skills an advantage.
- Good knowledge and experience of working with food.
