About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting dispatch operations by ensuring products, ingredients, and customer orders are accurately picked, pack, checked, and prepared for dispatch.

Working in a fast‑paced warehouse environment, you will help maintain quality, food safety, and full product traceability while achieving daily operational targets.

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday: 07:00–15:30

Flexibility and occasional overtime required to meet operational demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick materials, ingredients, and customer orders accurately in line with dispatch plans and pick lists.
  • Pack finished products according to customer specifications and packing instructions.
  • Support the achievement of daily picking, packing, and dispatch targets.
  • Maintain full product traceability by recording batch codes and use‑by dates.
  • Carry out in‑process and finished goods quality checks.
  • Ensure effective stock rotation using FIFO principles.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and material usage records.
  • Support waste reduction by following correct handling, packing, and disposal procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene by completing cleaning schedules and using the correct chemicals.
  • Follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety, COSHH, and PPE requirements.
  • Report any quality, stock, or operational issues promptly to the Warehouse Manager or QA Team.
  • Contribute your ideas to make continuous improvement of processes.
