Glyndebourne Opera House, set in the beautiful Sussex countryside, is one of the world’s most iconic cultural venues, renowned for its opera, elegant dining, and famous summer picnics. Dining at Glyndebourne delivers high-quality hospitality across restaurants, bars, private dining spaces and outdoor catering.
We are recruiting Restaurant Supervisors to support the front‑of‑house management team in the renowned restaurant led by Chef Steve Groves for the Summer Opera Festival, running from May to August 2026. This is a casual position, with hours varying week to week based on business needs. During the Festival we operate seven days a week, so flexibility is essential, including weekend work.
The role includes:
- Supervising day‑to‑day restaurant service
- Supporting and motivating front‑of‑house team members
- Ensuring service standards are consistently met
- Assisting with guest enquiries and feedback
You will work closely with managers and the kitchen team to help deliver a seamless and memorable dining experience in a high‑profile, fine‑dining environment. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with previous hospitality experience and strong customer service skills. You will be confident leading by example on the restaurant floor, able to remain calm under pressure, and committed to delivering exceptional service to every guest.
