The venue is the crucial backdrop of any event, and this is our area of expertise. Over the course of our rich history, we have formed close and long-standing partnerships with our venues so that we can create bespoke event spaces and a turn-key solution for our clients.
Location: London with travel required throughout London
Salary: £43,000 - £46,000 per annum plus amazing benefits and bonus
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, predominantly Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm with occasional overtime available during May, June, July, November and December
Job Purpose: Responsible for managing the design, construction, and event delivery of temporary venues for Ultimate events in line with established company standards and policies. Running a number of events per season within the Ultimate venues. Adhere to all company policies and procedures around health and safety. Communicate effectively and professionally within all levels of the organisation, its stakeholders, suppliers, clients and their customers. Manage budgetary requirements, always looking at cost saving initiatives, maximising profitability without impacting on event quality. Enhance guest experience through innovation and change management. Build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders such as Procurement, People team and Finance.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Manage projects for Ultimate and running a number of events per season.
- Manage the design and build of the temporary event sites, including site management during build days.
- Plan and forecast costs in line with budgetary requirements.
- Build relationships with key suppliers and clients.
- Manage the design and implementation of event safety management plans.
- Support on checks and audits on our suppliers and follow up with findings and recommendations.
- Work with the team and wider company stakeholders to enhance events through innovation, sustainability and service standards.
- Attend relevant site visits.
- Support on CSR initiatives helping to make sure that we are always doing the right thing when it comes to the environment, the local community and our people.
Role Specific:
- Manage the projects for temporary venues and run a number of events per season within them.
- Supplier and client liaison, building relationships.
- Improving venue design and planning.
- Carry out site visits for suppliers and clients.
- Account Management for client events.
- Event management to work evenings, weekends and occasional travelling when delivering events for Ultimate or the wider business.
- On site support for builds and de-rigs.
- Passion for temporary builds and events.
- Health and Safety management.
- Ensure effective and professional communication for efficient operations.
- Work closely with the catering partners menus for client specific requirements.
- Work closely with production partners for client specific requirements.
- Attend Operational Meetings internally and with stakeholders as required.
