Reporting directly to the Contract Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing planned preventative maintenance, statutory compliance tasks, and reactive repairs on Low Voltage electrical systems
- Carrying out routine PPM tasks following the SFG20 framework
- Responding to emergencies such as boiler failures
- Using test and monitoring equipment to maintain system performance and diagnose faults
- Adjusting systems to ensure proper operation of plant and equipment
- Conducting electrical, mechanical, and system checks in compliance with legislation
- Identifying and managing damaged works, following damage procedures to recover costs
- Managing contractors with support from the site manager
- Completing risk assessments and work worksheets, obtaining client approval
Candidate requirements include:
- Experience in Engineering Services Maintenance
- Troubleshooting skills in Air Conditioning
- Qualifications and experience in Periodic Inspections (desirable)
- Experience in a similar role within a PFI/education contract
- Strong teamwork skills
- Commitment, determination, and resilience
- Good people skills to coach and inspire staff
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Performance-driven with a focus on operational improvement
