As a General Operative at our Blanchardstown or Lusk site, you will be a member of a highly efficient production team. You will be task focused with high standards and a key member of the team to deliver world class food and service for our schools. This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, Saturday to Thursday, and will only be required to work in line with the academic calendar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality check product as per standard operating procedures.
- Cleaning and maintaining food packing areas and goods outwards.
- Recording critical control points and daily/weekly checks on our online HACCP management system.
- Responsible for supporting goods outwards products loaded onto fleet in the correct order.
- Well organised and have a professional attitude towards required duties.
- Responsible for ensuring final product meets the quality standard.
- Complete daily checks and report any defects to your line manager.
- Comply with company policy and procedure in wearing PPE and following required health and safety protocols.
- Comply with required policy and procedure in reporting sickness, requesting annual leave, and any other relevant process.
- Participate in the performance management process to ensure delivery of own and the wider team's goals.
About You:
- Previous experience in packing and/or preparation within a food production environment.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude.
- Experience in a similar environment (not essential).
