OVERALL, PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Delivery of workshops and courses across the portfolio of Learning and Development and Talent Development. To support the organisation by delivering bespoke courses, workshops, and programmes as necessary. When delivering training, to create a positive learning environment for all programmes and delegates ensuring key messages are consistently delivered.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Deliver workshops within the L&D and Talent portfolio either as part of programme, elective offer, or bespoke project work.
- Workshops may be part of an annually scheduled training plan or ad hoc and bespoke requests, requiring a flexible approach to diary management and time travelling away from home.
- Ensure health and safety of all delegates for the duration of their training.
- Ensure personal delivery style is open, inclusive, and respectful of all delegates, whilst being an ambassador for diversity and inclusion.
- Work with Learning and Development to ensure business demands are effectively prioritised considering business needs, location and travel requirements, minimising discretionary spend wherever possible.
- Act as the point of escalation for internal/external customer queries, escalating to Training Delivery Manager and/or L&D Business Partners as appropriate.
- Assess individual training needs during workshops to ensure material is delivered at an appropriate level, to maximise delegate understanding and retention.
- Deliver training content against Company standards and take part in ongoing needs analysis of design and delivery skills to ensure consistency and quality of design and delivery, across the team.
- Work with support functions and operations teams to support company or sector training initiatives as required.
- Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures as relevant to workshops.
