The Data Insights Graduate Programme

Our Data Insights Graduate Programme is a two-year structured scheme designed for graduates with a passion for data analytics and problem-solving. During this programme, you will work with our Data & Insights team, using cutting-edge tools and techniques to analyse large datasets, generate key business insights, and drive data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Through 6-month rotations, you’ll rotate through various functions, including central data teams, digital & technology and supply chain, giving you exposure to different areas of our business. You’ll gain hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and data visualisation while working on impactful projects that enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

You\’ll also benefit from a structured learning programme, with online tools, workshops, and a supportive network of fellow graduates. Plus, your dedicated mentor and Graduate Programme Manager will guide you every step of the way.

This programme is designed to develop you into the next generation of data scientists & engineers and analysts that will pioneer the use of data, analytics and artificial intelligence to revolutionise how data is used in the hospitality industry.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education : A recent graduate with a degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field (obtained within the last 2 years).
  • Data Skills : Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and a solid understanding of data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Problem-Solving Ability : A natural curiosity for problem-solving, with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proactive and Collaborative : A team player who is self-motivated and eager to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eligibility : The right to work in the UK & Ireland as Compass Group UK&I is unable to provide sponsorship to candidates for graduate programmes as the Home Office’s eligibility criteria will not be met.
