ESS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Cleaning Manager to lead our cleaning team. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient and effective operation of one of our Government service sites based in London. As the Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services, managing a diverse team, and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction and hygiene.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Promoting a safety culture and ensuring the cleaning team is aware of and operates in accordance with company and client Health & Safety procedures
- Managing the cleaning labour, equipment & resources budget
- Continuously improving the cleaning operation
- Engaging and managing the Cleaning team effectively
- Managing on-site Accommodation services and responsible for on-site bookings
- Ensuring the delivery and quality of the cleaning operation complies with the client service level agreement and company procedures
- Managing third-party suppliers or contractors as required, ensuring they meet or exceed agreed service level agreements
Our ideal Cleaning Manager will:
- Have 12 months experience managing a cleaning operation
- Demonstrate a proven ability to develop business through sound negotiation, change management, strategic decision making and ‘out of the box’ thinking
- Show ability to deliver quality customer service and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Possess excellent financial management skills, particularly the preparation and monitoring of detailed budgets and cash flow projections
- Have analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work to time-sensitive deadlines
- Be passionate about driving innovation and continuously improving services
