Role Purpose
The Insight Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting market data to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and new business growth. This role plays a key part in understanding market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive dynamics. They are a fundamental part of the team responsible for developing detailed plans around total addressable market and helping to identify new/future markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyse data on market conditions, competitors, and consumer behaviour and translating this into actionable insight for the Growth community.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate insights to varied stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for growth.
- Support forecasting and scenario planning based on market intelligence.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, operations and the Growth Leadership Team to inform strategy.
- Maintain and improve data sources and research methodologies.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Effective desk-top research skills and natural curiosity.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of market dynamics.
- Proficiency in data visualisation, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI and reporting tools.
Previous Experience
- 2-4 years in business analytics or a similar role.
- Experience working with datasets, market intelligence platforms, consumer data and digital marketing data.
- Exposure to FMCG, retail, or consumer goods/service sectors (preferred).
