We’re pleased to be recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Chef to join our friendly team of five at Five Oaks. If you enjoy producing high-quality, well-presented meals and being part of a supportive kitchen team, this role could be a great fit.
This position offers 33 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days with weekends on rotation. You’ll take part in breakfast, lunch and dinner service, working shifts of 8:00am-3:00pm or 8:00am-6:00pm.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and cooking tasty, nutritious meals in line with set menus
- Delivering consistent food quality, presentation and portion standards
- Providing input and ideas when menu changes are being developed by the wider team
- Supporting a positive experience for residents and responding to feedback
- Helping to monitor stock levels and report replenishment needs
- Maintaining excellent hygiene standards and participating in daily cleaning routines
- Following all Food Hygiene, Health & Safety and organisational policies
