About the role:
We’re seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Business Administrator to provide essential administrative, financial, and operational support for our catering operations at Twycross Zoo. This part-time role is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-profile visitor environment while contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing cash and processing daily takings accurately
- Completing financial and operational reports
- General HR administration support
- Supporting the Kitchen team with administrative tasks
- Maintaining filing systems, managing documentation, and handling enquiries
- Assisting with payroll and other finance-related processes as required
- Supporting ad-hoc projects and contributing to process improvements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience of working in a high-volume, busy environment
- At least 2 years’ administration experience
- Strong cash-handling experience
- Proven ability to manage and streamline processes
- Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
- A proactive, positive approach and a collaborative team spirit
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in a relevant area
