We have an exciting opportunity for Stewards to join our ESS Offshore relief/adhoc team mobilising from Aberdeen, Invergordon and Norwich.
What We Do
ESS Offshore is a market leading provider of catering and support services in the Offshore & Remote Sector and part of Compass Group UK & Ireland. We lead the market in providing food and support services to major companies operating in the oil and gas market. Our services support every aspect of daily community life offshore and in remote locations which are ‘a home away from home’ 365 days a year, 24 hours per day. We provide hot nutritious meals, clean beds, freshly laundered work wear, quality recreation, reception services at these locations which are all essential home comforts.
We support operations in the North Sea and further afield on fixed production platforms, flotels, floating production storage offtake facilities, mobile offshore drilling rigs and construction and pipe-laying barges. Within ESS it is our people who enable us to deliver great service to each and every one of our customers we serve every day.
As an integral member of the offshore team a Steward contributes to the provision of quality laundry services, accommodation, mess room and janitorial services whilst adhering to industry health and safety policies at all times.
Our Ideal Steward Candidates
Candidates that wish to apply will need to have previous experience of stewarding offshore as well as all certification listed below still valid. It would also be beneficial for candidates to have some knowledge or understanding of the Norwegian cleaning standard INSTA800.
You will also need to have the following essential certification:
- BOSIET/FOET;
- CAA-EBS;
- BI-Deltoid;
- MIST;
- OEUK Food Handlers Medical;
It would also be preferable to have the following desirable certification:
- First Aid certification
Candidates who are invited to interview will be required to bring evidence of all listed essential certification and Right to Work in the UK documentation.
