Value Assurance Lead to ensure our programmes deliver measurable business outcomes and lasting operational value.
This is a unique opportunity for an analytical, commercially minded professional who thrives on turning data into insight, validating change programmes, and influencing key deployment decisions.
You'll play a pivotal role in assuring that process and technology improvements achieve their intended benefits before, during and after implementation.
The Role As Value Assurance Lead, you'll be responsible for overseeing testing, validation, deployment assurance and post-implementation monitoring across a portfolio of transformation initiatives.
Working closely with Change Leads, Process Improvement Leads and Deployment Managers, you'll ensure changes are thoroughly assessed before rollout and that operational performance, adoption, risk and business outcomes are continually measured and evaluated.
You'll provide evidence-based recommendations to support deployment decisions and help ensure programmes deliver genuine value for the business.
- What You'll Be Doing Value Assurance & Deployment Readiness
- Lead the operation of controlled pilot and testing environments to validate process and technology improvements.
- Develop assurance frameworks and readiness assessments for deployment activities.
- Measure proposed changes against agreed success criteria, operational KPIs and business benefits.
- Produce evidence-based go/no-go recommendations for deployment decisions.
- Identify, assess and mitigate operational risks prior to rollout.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and embed lessons learned into future improvements.
- Data & Performance Insight
- Lead the collection, validation and interpretation of operational and performance data.
- Develop dashboards, reporting packs and performance metrics that measure programme outcomes.
- Translate complex operational information into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Establish success measures and assurance indicators across improvement initiatives.
- Use trend analysis and operational insight to identify opportunities and risks to value realisation.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build trusted relationships with operational leaders, programme teams and senior stakeholders.
- Provide assurance guidance on deployment readiness and operational impact.
- Facilitate workshops, review sessions and feedback forums to validate outcomes.
- Influence decision-making through credible data, evidence and structured analysis.
- Escalate risks and assurance concerns in a clear and constructive manner.
- Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure governance standards, testing controls and assurance processes are consistently applied.
- Support programmes in delivering the outcomes outlined in business cases and investment plans.
- Maintain clear documentation of testing outcomes, risks, recommendations and lessons learned.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and evidence-led decision making.
About You We're looking for a highly analytical and collaborative professional with experience operating within transformation, operational improvement or programme environments.
You'll bring
- Experience in operational assurance, PMO, business improvement, deployment readiness or process validation roles.
- Strong experience working in data-led transformation or operational environments.
- Expertise in developing dashboards, reporting packs and performance metrics.
- The ability to analyse complex data and turn findings into practical business recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leaders.
- Experience supporting large-scale change, transformation or deployment programmes.
- Knowledge of governance, assurance and risk management frameworks.
Desirable
- Experience managing pilot sites or controlled testing environments.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery, Lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting technology deployments or systems implementations.
- Lean, Six Sigma, Agile or Project Management qualifications.
- MTM certification or experience in service-based operational environments.
