We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Manager to oversee our ASDA supermarket café operations across East Anglia. In this role, you will manage multiple café sites, ensuring outstanding service, operational efficiency, and commercial performance. You will work closely with ASDA store management and your team of Unit Managers to deliver high-quality catering experiences that delight customers and drive business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Unit Managers to deliver exceptional café services within ASDA stores.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ASDA store management, ensuring contract compliance and exceeding expectations.
- Ensure cafés meet Compass and ASDA brand standards, with rigorous attention to food quality, health & safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor café performance, recognize training needs, and support career development within your team.
- Manage labour and controllable costs across all café sites, maintaining commercial efficiency.
- Drive profitability through strong commercial awareness, operational excellence, and innovation in café services.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 2+ years’ experience in a senior multi-site management role, ideally within supermarket cafés or catering operations.
- Strong track record of leading and motivating operational teams to deliver results.
- Experience managing P&L responsibilities and driving commercial performance.
- Skilled in building and maintaining client relationships in a retail or supermarket environment.
- Experience working to brand standards while delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Able to thrive under pressure, meeting deadlines and operational targets.
