Portering Manager - Kings College Hospital
Up to Β£55,000 DOE
40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 to suit business needs
We are currently recruiting a Portering Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Portering Manager, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. The Portering Manager will have:
- Experience of leading and managing a portering team in a healthcare environment
- Experience in ensuring compliance with H&S requirements
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Organised and considered approach to problem solving
- Self-motivated and able to adapt to a changing environment
- I.T. literate
Job Role Specification:
- Knowledge of the portering services in hospitals and the operational challenges and opportunities faced daily
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with a broad range of people
- Excellent management skills to organise and deliver a consistently high standard service
- Excellent leadership skills to inspire confidence and represent Company values
- Sound judgement and critical decision making
- Continually strive for simple, efficient ways of working
