What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing all day‑to‑day stores operations, including equipment issue, return, maintenance, and record‑keeping.
- Overseeing PPE, technical kit, and safety equipment, ensuring all items are fit for purpose and compliant.
- Conducting maintenance checks, servicing, and turnaround of equipment.
- Managing inventory, stock control, purchasing, and budget tracking.
- Supporting carriage of equipment plans, clothing systems, and asset life cycle management.
- Supervising groups during kit issue and providing guidance on equipment use and care.
- Maintaining COSHH and POL stores in line with legislation.
- Supporting risk management, safety reporting, and compliance with Total Safety Directives.
- Assisting with training delivery and wider unit activities where required.
- Acting as a key link between internal teams and stakeholders.
About You:
- Experience in stores, logistics, or technical equipment management.
- Strong understanding of health & safety and compliance processes.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident working in a hands‑on, operational environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support and guide others.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- First Aid (16hr Outdoors) – Essential.
- Enhanced DBS – Essential.
- Willingness to complete required training (e.g. PPE, MTB Maintenance).
- SIA / technical or outdoor qualifications (desirable).
- D1 driving licence (desirable).
