About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Catering Manager to lead the day-to-day catering operations at our Newcastle site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong hospitality background who enjoys managing teams, delivering high-quality food service, and building positive client relationships. The successful candidate will oversee operational standards, ensure compliance with food safety regulations, manage stock and ordering, and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily catering operations and ensure smooth service delivery
- Lead, support, and motivate the catering team
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance
- Manage stock, ordering, and waste control
- Monitor financial performance including GP and cost control
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction at all times
Experience & Skills Required
- 1-3 years' experience in catering or hospitality at management level
- Experience in contract catering or large-scale catering environments preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety, compliance, and operational standards
- Basic financial awareness including ordering, stock control, waste management, and GP
- Excellent customer service and people management skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
