Play a pivotal role in leading a skilled Soft FM team at Newark General Hospital. Deliver high-quality, responsive services that meet patient, client and business expectations while driving value, compliance and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of all soft services, ensuring high standards and a great customer experience.
- Drive efficiency and continuous improvement to meet performance and budget targets.
- Inspire, manage and develop teams, overseeing rotas, absence, performance reviews and training.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety legislation.
- Manage service quality, audits and KPIs, resolving issues and driving improvements.
- Identify and manage operational risks, supporting business continuity and emergency planning.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support service excellence.
- Produce clear, accurate reports and maintain compliance documentation using CAFM and MS Office.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience managing soft services within a facilities or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and people management capability.
- Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
- Experience managing budgets and delivering operational efficiencies.
- Confident user of MS Office and CAFM systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
