Overview

Nationwide Mobile Mechanical Engineer – £38–42K + Van + Expenses

We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team, supporting sites across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, travel, and working independently while contributing to larger projects with a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality mechanical maintenance support across a variety of contracts to enhance the customer experience and uphold the company’s excellent reputation.
  • Work 40 hours per week, maintaining and repairing: Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Air Conditioning systems; Pressure systems, expansion vessels, and calorifiers; Domestic and commercial hot & cold water systems; Tasks in line with SFG20 standards.
  • This nationwide role includes travel and overnight stays to ensure exceptional service across multiple sites.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience with the systems listed above
  • Desirable: Exposure to legionella water management and AP pressure systems
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a project team
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan your own workload
  • Competent in completing clear, timely reports
  • Flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices
