Portering Manager - Kings College Hospital
Up to £55,000 DOE
40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 to suit business needs
We're currently recruiting a Portering Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Portering Manager, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. The Portering Manager will have:
- Experience of leading and managing a portering team in a healthcare environment
- Experience in ensuring promoting and ensuring compliance to H&S requirements
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Organised and considered approach to problem solving
- Self motivated and able to adapt to a changing environment
- I.T. literate
Job Role Specification:
- To have a knowledge of the portering services in hospitals and the operational challenges and opportunities faced on a daily basis
- To have excellent communication skills in order to liaise with a broad range of people
- To possess excellent management skills in order to organise and deliver a consistently high standard service
- To possess excellent leadership skills in order to inspire confidence and represent Company values
- To demonstrate sound judgement and critical decision making
