Location: SA1 2AF

Salary: £35,500 per annum

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Shifts are as follows, either morning, middle or evening – between the hours of 07:00 – 23:00 (opening hours for restaurant – Monday & Friday 08:00 – 17:00, Tuesday – Thursday 08:00 – 20:00). Events and dinners affect opening and closing; flexibility is a must.

Key Responsibilities
  • Looking after all aspects of the restaurant along with the restaurant manager and team leader, to run breakfast, lunch and dinner, a la carte, fine dining, and events in this space.
  • Management of the team along with the manager, H&S, Food Safety, briefing.
  • Working with the events team with bookings, meeting clients as well as working with the kitchen teams.
  • Proactively engage customers, ensuring the offer suits their needs and maximises revenue and profitability.
  • Oversee the standard and quality of all food & drink; serve as the final quality check for everything delivered to customers.
  • Deputise in the absence of restaurant manager or hospitality manager or other food services managers.
  • Assist at special duties or functions outside normal working hours.
  • Recruit, develop, and train a highly motivated team who put customers first.
  • Ensure team members understand their purpose and standards of operation.
  • Deliver and arrange regular training sessions, focusing on service, memorable moments, selling, and upskilling.
  • Own the financial performance of your area, ensuring company processes and controls are followed.
  • Identify sales growth and cost‐saving initiatives.
  • Control and manage budgets, including preparation, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Lead the team to ensure all company and statutory regulations pertaining to health and food safety are adhered to.
  • Ensure timely reporting of all risks and support corrective action plans from site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure all staff have required PPE and equipment is fit for purpose and tested as required.
