We're currently recruiting a dedicated Nurse to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Compass Group UK&I on a part time basis, contracted to 36 hours per week. As a Nurse, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Assessing and treating patients attending with minor injury and minor illness presentations
  • Delivering high quality, person-centred care using up-to-date evidence-based knowledge
  • Undertaking nursing treatments and procedures for patients e.g. wound care, suture removal, ECGs, vaccinations, phlebotomy
  • Participating in health screening duties and health promotion
  • Assessing and re-evaluating clinical situations and acting accordingly
  • Monitoring and improving standards of care through evidence-based practice, clinical audit, research and education

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have a current Nursing and Midwifery Council Registration
  • Have a state-approved or recognised Diploma or Degree in Adult Nursing
  • Have appropriate post-registration experience in a Primary Care environment (however training can be given to the right candidate)
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be IT-literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Be an effective team member
  • Be able to work unsupervised
  • Be able to organise and prioritise workload
  • Be able to demonstrate continuing professional development
