We’re now looking for a Sous Chef to support the delivery of high‑quality, large‑scale food operations across this world‑class venue.

The Role

As Sous Chef, you’ll be a key member of the kitchen leadership team, supporting the Head Chef and Executive Head Chef in delivering consistent, high‑quality food across multiple outlets and event formats. You’ll be hands‑on, leading by example, supporting teams during live service and ensuring standards are maintained at all times. This is a fast‑paced, event‑led role, ideal for a passionate chef who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to continue developing their career with an industry leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in the day‑to‑day management of kitchen operations
  • Lead and motivate kitchen teams, ensuring strong communication and teamwork
  • Deliver high‑quality food across conferences, exhibitions, hospitality and live events
  • Maintain exceptional standards of food safety, hygiene and health & safety
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, waste management and cost control
  • Support menu delivery, food preparation and service during peak periods
  • Play an active role in training, developing and mentoring junior chefs

About You

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up
  • Background in high‑volume, event‑led, hotel or large‑scale hospitality kitchens
  • Passion for fresh food, quality and consistency
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands‑on, positive approach
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance
  • Flexible to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and event days
