What you\’ll be doing:

Organise and supervise the unit according to Compass Group UK & Ireland standards, contract specifications, and statutory regulations. Manage resources effectively, oversee food preparation, cooking, and service to meet standards, and ensure efficient use of stock, team members, and assets.

• Strategic management and guidance of the team
• Previous contract catering experience
• Effective communication, motivation, and management of staff
• Responsibility for food and health & safety procedures
• Regular communication with clients
• Implement customer feedback action plans
• Promote the unit and act as a Compass Group advocate
• Manage internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure high standards of hospitality and seek feedback
• Identify opportunities for service improvement
• Bring innovation and flair to the role
• Operate within budget and monitor trends for corrective actions
• Deliver customer requirements to expectations
