Financial Administrator to join our team at HMNB Clyde.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator with financial support experience to play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of invoicing, reporting, budgeting, and financial controls within a busy operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process sales invoices, supplier invoices, receipts, and expense claims.
- Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and cash flow reporting.
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and debt management activities.
- Produce accurate costings, forecasts, and financial reports for management.
- Ensure client billing is completed accurately and within contractual timescales.
- Monitor budgets and expenditure, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain stock records and complete weekly finance reporting through company systems.
- Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and approved purchasing processes.
- Organise financial documentation for audits and reporting requirements.
- Provide administrative support, including document management and meeting note-taking.
- Work collaboratively with managers to improve reporting and financial processes.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture and support wider site operations as required.
Desirable
- Previous experience within a finance, accounts, or financial administration role.
- Experience working in a military, defence, or secure-site environment.
- Understanding of business operations and contract management.
- NVQ in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related qualification.
- Experience using finance, stock control, or ERP systems.
