We are seeking an experienced and credible Account Manager to lead a high‑profile Total Facilities Management (TFM) contract based in Luton. The contract covers a broad range of services, including cleaning, security, catering and hard services, and plays a critical role in delivering a seamless workplace experience for our client.
This is a highly visible, client‑facing position and would suit someone who brings confidence, personality and strong leadership to everything they do. Someone who genuinely enjoys managing people and takes pride in delivering well‑run, high‑quality services. An interest in food and service culture will be a real advantage.
The Role
- Provide overall leadership of the TFM contract, covering hard and soft FM services
- Act as the primary client contact, building effective relationships and managing escalations professionally
- Oversee performance against KPIs and SLAs, ensuring consistent delivery and continuous improvement
- Lead, engage and develop on‑site teams and subcontractors, creating a positive and high‑performing culture
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety, statutory and contractual requirements
- Manage financial performance, including budgets, forecasting and cost control
- Prepare and present performance reports and attend regular client review meetings
- Proactively identify opportunities for service enhancement, innovation and added value
About You
- Proven experience managing a cleaning and security contract within a facilities management environment
- Experience of working on TFM contracts, with exposure to catering and hard services highly desirable
- Several years' experience in an Account Manager or similar senior operational role
- Confident and credible in a client-facing position, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong people manager with the ability to motivate, support and challenge teams effectively
- Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and P&L accountability
- Solid understanding of health & safety and compliance standards
- An interest in food and service delivery, with a genuine focus on quality and customer experience
- Relevant FM or technical qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, IWFM or similar) are desirable
